How to use these

Pick a template that matches what you need, then:

  • Copy the words into an email, letter or form
  • Change names, dates and details to fit your family
  • Keep a copy so you remember what you sent

Word starters for forms & letters

Ideas and phrases you can adapt when you are:

  • Asking for an assessment
  • Chasing up a decision or meeting
  • Explaining your childs needs or strengths

You can store your own versions of these as Word, Google Docs or PDFs and link to them here.

Example documents

Later you can upload and link real documents, for example:

  • "Requesting a school needs assessment" letter
  • "Follow-up after meeting" email template
  • "Sharing observations about my child" form

To add downloads, place files in storage/app/public/documents and link them here using Storage::url() once the storage symlink is set up.

Next step idea

We can later build a small admin area to upload, rename and organise these documents without touching code.
